I bought a Bloggie back in the Spring, and I must say it was money well spent. Not only have I enjoyed it, but the kids have been making some pretty funny videos as well. My oldest loves editing and put this little bit together. They did it all on their own, the 7 and 10 year old filmed part of it; and the oldest (in the blue shirt) edited and added the sound effects. If he ever makes it big, you can say you saw his first film ....

I got another apron in the mail yesterday. My partner's inspiration was my favorite drink .... Coke! I talked my son into modeling for me, and it turned into an impromptu photo shoot and a chance for them to show off their best Blue Steel.
I also got these really cute duck and chickie figurine with a newsprint on them. I'm not sure if she bought this or if she used her savvy scrapbooking skills to add the newsprint herself, either way ... I love them!

Here's the aprons I've sent out to partners in the past two swaps I've been in. Both are using a halter apron pattern.
The only difference is - instead of using bias tape around the halter like on the top apron, I lined the halter section on the bottom apron. I don't know why, but I'm not a fan of applying bias tape, and I'd rather use more fabric than use bias tape! I ended up cutting the pattern pieces a bit bigger for a seam allowance and I love the way it turned out. I also cut the ties twice as wide, to sew it together and turn it - much easier than turning under all around and top stitching.
