Here is the latest I've gotten done on the ruffled tank. I think it looks pretty cute without the pink ruffle and was almost not going to put it on .... but then I remembered I have a hole in the pink stripe that I wanted to cover up. I've got 1 armhole almost finished, 1 armhole and neck to finish in the pink. I'm sure I'll be done by the weekend.

I like yours better than the original. Looks good! Glad to see artsy/fartsy back up there too.
Oh! and if you decide to do that Monkey/knit thing, there's alot of cute monkey things in the $1 bin at Target and in the store. Think about you dear friend today while your at GHEA. :o(
