Stacy got the boys wired up tonight at Applebees. Chubby cheeks wants to know when he can spend the night with her. It was real. It was fun. But it wasn't real fun. (I kid, I kid.) Hey, I'm going to work some more on Red's ruffled tank.

Why??????
What would you do if you found your brand new Pampered Chef scrub brush in the toilet courtesy of your loony 3 year old? (Did I mention it was laying in the toilet along with toilet paper and more than likely a little pee?????)
I'll tell you what I did, thanked him for cleaning the toilet for me ... he really did do a good job. Now the question is, would you keep your scrub brush (it is dishwasher safe), or toss is??
play - DOH!
So I got out all the playdough toys (over the years we've collected lots), only to find we have no play dough. Boy #4 tends to leave it out and let it harden. I found a very easy recipe for homemade that wasn't sticky and nasty like others ones I've tried. Just mix 3 cups flour, 1/2 cup of salt, 2 TB oil, then enough water to make the dough. Not only did the 3 year old enjoy it, but all the kids. Baby sweetcheeks thought it tasted pretty good, too.
Does anyone know how to put my pictures UNDER what I write??? I've got some Lemon Blueberry Bread in the oven, better go and check on it.

The Monica tank
I finished knitting the Monica tank (pattern from www.knitty.com), but I haven't sewn it together, yet. I think it will be really cute when completed. The other pics are of a new tank top I've started. This one seems to be knitting up faster; I'm using size 8 needles and a really thick cotton yarn. Once this one is finished, I'm going to make a Redondo skirt with blue, pink, and green.

New blog, new knitter
I recently started knitting (March), and let me tell ya ... I just can't get enough of it. Already I'm an addict. I just finished knitting my daughter a cute little tank. All I have to do is figure out how to sew the front to the back. I know it's supposed to be easy, I'm just worried that it will come apart. I post a pic in my next post.
